What Is Restylane?
Restylane is a type of cosmetic filler that is composed of Hyaluronic acid. Restylane was the first (HA) filler approved by the FDA for use in the United States.
What Is Restylane Used For?
Restylane is used to add back support underneath the skin (beneath the dermis), effectively treating the effects of aging that are seen on the skin.
What Areas Of The Face Does Restylane Commonly Treat?
Restylane is most commonly used to treat the nasolabial folds (lines between the nose and corners of nose) as well as the upper lip lines. Restylane is also commonly used to treat the lines below the corners of mouth, commonly referred to as marionette lines.
Finally, Restylane is commonly used in lip plumping treatments.
How Is Restylane priced?
Restylane is sold by the syringe and is priced at $799/syringe. Many of our clientele choose restylane as part of a treatment package or take advantage of our treatment specials.
How is Restylane applied?
Restylane is injected beneath the skin with a fine needle or with a blunt, needle-like instrument called a cannula.
How Long Does Restylane Last
The longevity of a Restylane treatment depends on several variables. These variables include the amount of Restylane applied, the area that is treated, and individual response.
Many patients experience results that last from 6 to 12 months. Patients who receive Restylane for lip plumping procedures may benefit from follow up visits every 6 months or sooner.
