How does Kybella® work?
When injected into submental fat, Kybella causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat. After the aesthetic response is achieved, retreatment with Kybella is not expected, as the destruction of cells is deemed permanent.
How long does a Kybella® treatment take?
The in-office non-surgical Kybella treatment can take 15-20 minutes.
When will I see results?
Because everyone is different, some patients’ treatment plans may require up to 4 treatments. Depending on the problem area, a patient may see results in 3 to 6 weeks.
