Under Eye Bags and Dark Circles

img-5

Eye Bags generally appear when we lose foundation under our skin: namely bone, muscle and fat as we age. Some people have a genetic component to the creases under the eyes, which only gets more pronounced with time and age. Dark Circles are caused by the deepening creases in the skin below the eye in which light reflects off of. The deeper the under eye crease becomes, the more light is reflected off of, and the darker the skin appears. The EyeRise™, available only at VERVE, is a non-surgical procedure using a more advanced alternative to the needle called a cannula device. This advanced treatment includes a combination of carefully placed cosmetic fillers in both the tear trough and surrounding area of the mid-face. Learn more about EyeRise. LEARN MORE.

Full Facial Sagging

Facial sagging occurs when we lose foundation and volume or base below the skin. This loss of support leads to our skin to fold and sag.    A non-surgical BaseLift™, exclusively at VERVE, can replace much of the volume and support in the lost area by artistically and skillfully sculpting the face back to its original position using a combination of dermal filler injections. The creases that run from the edges of the nose to the sides of the mouth, also known as smile lines because when smiling, these creases become much more pronounced with maturity. The most common factors in deepening nasolabial folds are age relating to the loss of  support under the skin, “the base of the face”. The most straightforward way to treat nasolabial folds is to fill in the skin beneath the folds themselves with cosmetic fillers. More effective and complete treatment of these folds often includes the use of cosmetic fillers to lift the skin in adjacent areas of the face such as the mid-face region, outer cheeks areas as well as beneath the jawline. It’s always best to select a dedicated cosmetic injectables Physician who can provide all of the filler options, as filling just the nasolabial folds alone may not provide for the most optimal results.

Also known as laugh lines, these are the lines or creases that appear at the corners of the mouth and extend downward. The loss of support under the skin in adjacent areas of the face such as the jaw line is often a major contribution to the formation of marionette lines. Cosmetic filler injections into areas around the mouth and jawline area are often the best approach to lift and re-support the marionette area back to its original natural position.

Neck sagging and chin area fat are often caused by a natural process called atrophy, or loss of the support system under the skin. The skin on the neck and under chin appears to sag, and the face begins to look hollowed, and the ligaments and blood vessels in our neck begin to appear more prominently. This area can often be re-sculpted with cosmetic fillers with great results as part of a Baselift procedure. In addition, the submental chin fat can often be treated with fillers or Kybella injections.

11 lines also referred to as “frown lines” or “movement lines” develop due to the muscular pull and movement from frowning and other facial expressions. These movements cause the skin on our foreheads to bend and fold, eventually forming permanent creases or indentations. The most effective first treatment for 11 lines are wrinkle relaxers (neuromodulators) including Botox Cosmetic or Xeomin, which relax the muscles that cause movement and wrinkling.

The lines that appear in the forehead between the eyebrows and the hairline. There are two different components of forehead lines: a resting component (static line) and a movement component (dynamic lines.) Dynamic horizontal forehead lines are caused by the movement in the forehead area of the frontalis muscle, which controls the elevation of our eyebrows. The best treatment for dynamic wrinkles are neuromodulators like Botox or Xeomin, and static horizontal lines (lines at rest) may benefit from applying a cosmetic filler..
The leading causes of these small lines that appear around the corners of the eye are the movement of the skin while squinting and smiling, resulting in a loss of skin fibers and the loss of fullness below the skin. There are two types of Crow’s feet, dynamic, the small wrinkles that appear beside our eyes only when we smile or squint, and the static resting lines which do not disappear. The most common treatment for Crow’s Feet is Botox or Xeomin injected into the areas around the eyes, to relax the tension in the muscles that cause the skin to wrinkle.

Depending on the condition, brows can often be lifted or contoured to a more rested or desired shapely appearance with non-surgical cosmetic injections. Treatments for this area are often referred to as a non-surgical brow lift at VERVE a BrowRise™. Depending on the desired result and exact area, dermal fillers, or Botox or Xeomin may be used to treat this area.

Non-surgical nose contouring is an effective treatment for patients who have curvature or bumps in the nose and want to straighten the nose without surgery. Fillers can smooth the bumps and curves, causing the nose to look smaller. However, unlike surgery, fillers cannot narrow the nose, and are not permanent.

A gummy smile is evident when the focus of a person’s smile is their gums and not their teeth. This is most commonly caused by an overgrowth of gum tissue covering too much of a person’s teeth. Whether a person’s smile is gummy is determined by the proportion of their mouth and the amount of gum tissue they have. Injecting Botox or Xeomin near the upper lip is an effective and easy way to treat a gummy smile non-surgically. The most effective non-surgical treatment is Botox or Xeomin, neuromodulators, that help to relax muscles that would ordinarily overly raise the lips up over the gum.

Correcting a sagging jawline and jowls with cosmetic injectables is an effective way to better contour your face without making major changes. Patients can achieve a slimmer as well as a more sculpted jawline with cosmetic fillers in this area. The results look natural–there is no cutting of the skin.

Upper and bottom lips can be plumped with a series of cosmetic fillers injections that add volume. A non-surgical lip filler treatment is performed using cosmetic fillers that are derived from hyaluronic acid gel, a naturally occurring compound found in the skin. For the most natural-looking and best results the overall surrounding areas of the mouth such as nasolabial folds, not just the lips, should be considered. This is often overlooked by less experienced injection techniques when treating the lips.
Sagging cheeks form as we age and as we lose the foundation under the skin in the midface. Cosmetic fillers are injected into the area to add back the lost support and lift the cheeks back to their natural position to treat the condition. Many patients who do not have sagging skin, but want a more contoured cheekbone can select dermal fillers to enhance this area. To avoid a puffy result, it is important to select an experienced injector who understands all types of fillers and does not use only hyaluronic acid fillers in this area, and considers the entire face when treating the cheeks.
Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition in which a person excessively sweats, usually unrelated to body temperature or exercise. Botox and Xeomin are neuromodulators known to treat and solve this issue working to relax the muscles and block the overactive nerves that cause the overproduction of sweat.
Cosmetic fillers are injected into targeted areas to sculpt, reshape, and achieve a natural contoured result. A full butt reconstruction or surgery is not always necessary to achieve a more firm or rounded look.
Regularly exposed to the sun and the harsh elements of day-to-day life, the skin on our hands is often more sensitive to the aging process. As the aging process continues, the skin loses volume causing the tissue beneath the skin to become thinner, and the veins and tendons become more visible. Radiesse injections can help in two ways, restoring lost volume to the back of the hands and stimulating collagen production resulting in immediate, long-lasting volume augmentation.
