What is Voluma XC?
Voluma XC is a new, FDA approved filler used to add volume to the cheek area. Voluma XC adds volume to the midface to create contour and lift, and ultimately helps to correct the appearance of sagging cheeks.
Like other fillers, Voluma XC is made from Hyaluroinc Acid (HA), a natural substance found in the human body. Unlike other fillers, however, Voluma XC is made with a proprietary, VYCROSS technology, which produces a high concentration, cross-linked HA filler. The high concentration of this filler allows for results that may last for up to 21 months.
Additionally, Voluma XC is made with lidocaine, a local anesthetic that helps to reduce this discomfort that often occurs with injections in the skin.
What areas of the face does Voluma XC treat?
Voluma XC was designed for injections into the midface area. Specifically, Voluma XC is used to augment the cheeks by adding back the volume that is lost in this area due to aging.
How is Voluma XC applied?
Voluma XC is injected underneath the skin with a needle or a cannula.
How much does Voluma XC cost?
Voluma XC is priced by the syringe and typically costs $1499 per single syringe. Patients may benefit from more than one syringe. We offer special pricing as well as treatment plans for new customers and to customers who benefit from multiple syringes.
How long do Voluma XC treatments last?
The results of Voluma XC treatments are dependent on the number of syringes applied and the individual response of the patient. Many patients can expect to see results that last anywhere from 12 months up to 2 years.
