Non-surgical lip augmentation works to plump the lips, leaving a fuller look and can last up to 6 months in most instances however, in a percentage of patients lip fillers may give permanent or semi-permanent improvements. • Area Treated: Treating the border of the lips may last longer than the body of the lip. 
• Frequent treatments: People who are consistent with getting lip fillers ever 6 months or so may see some permanent or long term benefits even when the fillers wear off – thought to be related to a long term collagen induction process. Permanent fillers  are not recommended as they cause an unregulated inflammatory condition that can cause uncontrolled growth size and lumpiness.
