How to be a Younger, Fresher You!

Outside of medical cosmetics there are many things you can do to not only look your best, but also look younger and healthier. Below are just a few steps that anyone can do to start looking great at any age.

 

You mother may have told you that in order to start the day right, you need to have a good night’s sleep. She was right! Your body, including your skin, needs at least 7-8 hours sleep in order to rejuvenate.  So don’t skimp on catching your zzzz’s, if you don’t feel refreshed, you won’t look refreshed!

 

First off, if you still smoke it is time to smell the fresh air! Not only is this unhealthy for you, but second hand smoke is detrimental to the people around you. Smoking can lead to many difference diseases plus it makes you look dreadful by rapidly aging the skin.

 

Let’s face it most of us do not eat properly, Between juggling family, home, and work responsibilities who has time to prepare a fresh meal when it is easier to dial in dinner or nuke something frozen. Eating fresh foods, especially fruits and veggies are vital.  They are chuck full of antioxidants and they are known for helping to slow down the aging process. Plus the benefit of eating well, which also includes cutting back on trans fats and sugar, is losing a few pounds and who doesn’t feel great when they are a few pounds lighter?
