What is Baselift™?
What is "Base of the Face"?
The Base of the face is the terminology we use to describe the underlying support structure of the face located underneath the skin. Fat, bone, and muscle are the primary components of the facial base.
Why Does Our Skin Sag and Fold with Aging?
Facial aging occurs when the face loses the support of its base. The simple science of facial aging is that we lose this foundation, or base, below the skin. Eventually, this loss of support leads to our skin folding and sagging.
How is Baselift™ Performed?
During the BaseLift procedure, a combination of cosmetic fillers are injected to add back to the facial base what is lost with age. The fillers lift sagging skin and restore the shape and architecture of the face. The BaseLift non-surgical facelift utilizes the principle of vector lift points that are on the upper, middle, and lower face and jawline areas to recreate a natural lift in different directions and restore the face in all dimensions. Using his artistry, Dr. Bracci individualizes the BaseLift™ treatment to meet each client’s needs and restore their unique facial structure.
Unlike a traditional facelift, during BaseLift, there is no surgical removal or repositioning of the tissues of the face or stretching of skin. As a result, BaseLift maintains your natural look while giving you a more youthful, rested look.
